Go Slow, 2022

This public art project was kickstarted to raise awareness of traffic speed and density in the English sea side town of Whitstable. Young people aged 6 to 11 years of age were invited to participate in a series of workshops to help develop the work, by creating drawings that responded to the theme of ‘going slow’, painting scenery and props, as well as performing in the photographic artwork. The project was funded by the Whitstable Improvement Trust and facilitated by the Horsebridge Arts Centre and is due for installation toward the end of 2022. The development of this project is being documented on instagram @camilleserisier.
